Ingersoll Key Putt

The Ingersoll Key Putt is a joint project with the Kiwanis Club of Ingersoll and the IDCI Key Club. The IDCI Key Club is the high school version of a Kiwanis Club – an enthusiastic group of high school students wanting to learn more about service and how to be a good leader in their homes, schools, and communities.

The Ingersoll Key Putt provides an opportunity for high school in this club to learn more about business and entrepreneurship including financial literacy, marketing, customer service, maintenance, and administration.

How We Operate

The Ingersoll Key Putt is very appreciative of our local community partners that help keep the mini golf course running. We charge a minimal fee to play to provide an affordable activity for youth and families to enjoy. We rely on donations and sponsors to maintain the course, provide employment for students, and cover monthly operating costs.

When we first re-opened the course, we received a grant from Key Club International through the Youth Opportunities Fund to help rebuild some of the hole boundaries and paint. Since then, we have received funding from Community Futures Oxford to start improving our online presence, the Town of Ingersoll Community Development Grant to assist with the cost of fixing some of the cracked concrete, Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities to create leagues, and the Canada Summer Jobs Grant to help employ 2 to 3 students each season.

In 2025, we will be celebrating our 15th year! WOW! We can’t believe it’s been that long!

We have some big plans for the mini golf course! We are planning to create a theme for the course around the history of Ingersoll. Stay tuned throughout 2024 for new obstacles representing events, businesses, and influential people within our community. We would also like to build a new shack, fix more of the uneven and cracked concrete, and bring more fun events like our annual car show to the facility!

We need your help to make all of this happen! We are gratefully accepting donations and sponsorships to put toward all of these improvements. If you’d like to be apart of this, please get in touch with us!
